A merchant cash advance (MCA) is not a traditional loan. A funding company advances you a lump sum in exchange for a share of your future sales. Instead of fixed monthly loan payments, the advance is repaid from your revenue, often as a percentage of card sales or as regular automatic withdrawals from your business bank account.
Because MCAs are based mainly on your sales rather than years of financial statements, they can suit newer businesses or businesses that don’t yet qualify for bank financing. Vetri Group arranges merchant cash advances through our affiliated funding partners.
Financing is subject to lender approval and eligibility. We don’t guarantee approval, rates or terms.
Vetri Group is a broker, not a lender. We charge clients a service or consulting fee for our help; lenders and funding partners make all credit decisions.

Who may be eligible
To be considered for a merchant cash advance through our affiliated funding partners, your business must have been in operation for at least 3 months. Our funding partners review each application and set their own approval criteria, amounts and terms.
- In operation for at least 3 months
- Our funding partners typically also review your recent sales and business bank deposits
Common uses
- Covering a short-term cash flow gap
- Buying inventory or supplies
- Urgent repairs or equipment replacement
- Taking on a time-sensitive opportunity
How the cost works
The cost of a merchant cash advance is usually expressed as a factor rate or a fixed total repayment amount, rather than an annual interest rate. That makes it easy to misjudge: a short repayment period can make an MCA much more expensive than a traditional loan when you compare the annualized cost.
Before you accept any offer, look at the total amount you’ll repay, how and how often repayments are collected, any fees, and what happens if your sales slow down. We’ll walk you through any offer from our funding partners so you understand the full cost before you sign.
Alternatives worth comparing
A merchant cash advance can be useful when speed or flexibility matters most, but it isn’t always the lowest-cost option. Depending on your situation, it can make sense to compare it with a business line of credit, working capital financing or a government-backed loan. We’ll help you weigh them up.
Documents lenders commonly ask for
Every lender is different, but having these ready usually speeds things up:
- Government-issued photo ID for each owner
- Business registration or articles of incorporation
- Recent business bank statements
- Financial statements and/or business tax returns for recent years
- A list of current business debts and payments
- Details of what the financing is for (quotes, invoices or a short plan)

FAQ
Merchant Cash Advance: common questions
Is a merchant cash advance a loan?
Not usually. An MCA is generally structured as the purchase of a share of your future sales, rather than a loan with an interest rate. It’s repaid from your revenue, so read the agreement carefully to understand exactly how repayment works.
How long does my business need to be operating?
At least 3 months. Our affiliated funding partners typically also review your recent sales and bank deposits, and they make the final decision.
Who provides the funding?
Merchant cash advances are provided through our affiliated funding partners. Vetri Group is a broker, not a lender or funder.
How much does a merchant cash advance cost?
It depends on the offer, which our funding partners set based on your business. MCAs can cost more than traditional financing, so always compare the total repayment amount and timeline before accepting. Vetri Group’s own service or consulting fee is separate, and we’ll explain it up front.
